Gaps in the Social Protection

This film highlights the tragedy of Adam, a boy forced to drop out of school at 13 to support his mother and sisters amidst extreme poverty. After he is apprehended by the anti-vagrancy unit, his family resorts to scavenging through garbage at night to survive and protect him from acquiring a police record. The film exposes the stark contrast between official claims—which dismiss begging as a profitable profession rather than a result of need—and the harsh reality that inadequate "social protection" systems strip vulnerable children of their fundamental rights to education and safety.
