Gaps in the Safety Net
The film Holes in the Umbrella captures real stories of children forced to work after leaving school due to extreme poverty. It includes interviews with government officials and the NGO Tamkeen.

Opening the Conference: A Vision for Change
This video, produced for the Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation, documents interviews with members of the Advisory Committee reflecting on three key outcomes of their work. The most significant was drafting a proposal to prohibit the forced sterilization of girls with disabilities.
The production of this video was particularly challenging due to the lack of visual footage or images that could be captured. To overcome this, a dynamic graphic-based approach was used to bring the content to life and ensure an engaging visual experience.
Jordanian Cooperatives
Documentary Film
This documentary, which I produced in 2024, sheds light on the challenges and opportunities women face in establishing and operating cooperative societies in Jordan. The film tracks their journey over the course of a year, highlighting the struggles and successes, and uses these insights to create dialogue and drive change. Following its premiere at the 15th Karama Human Rights Film Festival, the documentary sparked discussions with key stakeholders, leading to recommendations aimed at improving the experience for women in cooperative ventures.
This year, the impact campaign has taken a significant step towards establishing a unified platform for women’s cooperatives. Building on the momentum created by the documentary, we have been working towards forming an official network or union that brings together cooperatives fully run by women. The goal is to provide these women with a strong, collective voice, enabling them to advocate for their rights, secure better resources, and enhance the sustainability of their cooperatives.

I produced the Takatof Podcast for the European Union, a platform reflecting on 10 years of the Syrian crisis and its impact in Jordan. Through 7 episodes, it features voices of refugees, local communities, and responding organizations, with testimonials on health, education, environment, and women’s economic empowerment.
